Concession of Subway Network

Capacity, experience and management in metropolitan transport
Since December 1, 2021, Emova is in charge of operation and mainteinance of the Buenos Aires Subway Network. Our consortium is made up of Benito Roggio Transporte and Metrovías, which combines the expertise and know-how necessary to make this mode of transport the leading system in urban mobility.
Today the net has 296 escalators, 114 elevators, 8 stair lifts, 2 travelators and 2 wheelchair lift platform. Emova operates its service with different fleet: Alstom, CAF, Mitsubishi, Nagoya, Fiat-Materfer and CNR.

Operation control center

From Operation Control Center (OCC), the maintenance and operation of the subway service is monitored and controlled. The professional team who Works there is in constant communication with personnel from traffic, rolling stock and stations, in order to minimize contingencies which might arise during the service as well as informing the user in real time about service situation. In 2015 a whole renovation of monitoring screens was carried out.
